Due to an upcoming retirement, S&W has been retained by Seamen’s Bank ( to manage the search for the bank’s next Residential Lending Executive. Founded in 1851 in Provincetown, Massachusetts, Seamen’s Bank was Cape Cod’s first community bank, and 170 years later continues to fulfill its original mission of offering “a high level of personal service and foster close-knit relationships with families and small businesses.” Today, the bank serves both year-round residents and businesses of the Lower Cape as well as seasonal and part-time residents through 5 retail branch locations and a full suite of online and mobile products and services. Seamen’s Bank has approximately $480MM in total assets, and is in sound financial condition, having recently produced record net income, which improved the bank’s core capital ratio to 11.5%. The bank takes pride in offering outstanding benefits to its team members, including education and childcare reimbursement, and is an outstanding corporate citizen.

Reporting to the President & CEO and joining a collaborative senior management team, this highly visible role will oversee the ongoing success of a critical part of the bank’s business. The Residential Lending Executive will lead a team of up to 14 people and in addition to residential and consumer originations and operations, will be responsible for the oversight of the secondary market function, loan compliance, and underwriting. A key part of the success of this role will be the continued modernization of the residential lending process and digitization of the customer journey.
