New England Federal Credit Union is the largest financial institution headquartered in Vermont, with total assets of $1.9B, seven branches, and over 92,000 active members. Direct Financial has a retail branch and a loan production office serving approximately 2,500 members in the Michigan market.

Reporting to the Chief Lending Officer, the VP of Consumer Lending develops, implements, and oversees the credit union’s consumer lending programs, processes, and teams, including direct and indirect lending. The Vice President of Consumer Lending is responsible for the growth of the Credit Union’s consumer loan portfolio. The position will help shape the strategic direction of the department by ensuring a frictionless member experience and through delivery of operational excellence in all facets of the loan origination cycle. In addition, this position will ensure compliance with credit union lending policies (consumer & real estate loan policies); assist in development of lending policy; and manage lending activity to meet credit union goals and objectives.
