Our client, Merrimack County Savings Bank, is a $1B mutual bank operating 8 branches between Concord, NH and Nashua, NH. The Bank was established over 150 years ago and has become one of New Hampshire’s most respected mutual banks focused on long term financial stability while fostering the economic health and well-being of the communities they serve.

 

The bank recently surpassed $1B in total assets. In addition, it has earned a Tier 1 Risk-Based Capital Ratio of 13.58% and a Return on Equity of 7.73% (reporting as of March 31, 2021).

 

Reporting to the SVP Residential Lending Mortgage Officer and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve established Residential sales goals. This includes identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities designed to increase the organization’s presence, competitiveness, and image within target markets. Additionally, the incumbent must build and develop a team of professional mortgage loan officers/originators and inculcate them in the culture of the bank. This person will provide leadership for the residential mortgage originators to ensure high quality customer service, achieve acceptable origination volumes and appropriate profitability while adhering to all federal, state and bank regulations.
