Summary of 2017 Charitable Giving

Smith & Wilkinson takes pride in supporting local community organizations, and 2017 presented the opportunity for our company to continue our engagement with several local groups. In total, S&W contributed $21,000 to regional charitable organizations.

In 2017, S&W supported the following organizations:

Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, Maine’s only full-service children’s hospital, consistently ranked one of the top children’s hospitals in the US.

Camp Sunshine, a year-round resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to enjoy a camp experience in Maine.

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a leading cancer research and treatment located in Boston, MA.

Rip it for Rett North, a charitable golf tournament held annually in support of RettSyndrome.org, funding research and resources for individuals living with Rett Syndrome.

PanMass Challenge, an annual bike-a-thon across Massachusetts in support of the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Rippleffect, a nonprofit organization providing outdoor adventure programming for youth and adults in southern Maine.

United Way of Greater Portland, an organization dedicated to supporting children and families and to positively influence local communities.
